I am undertaking my civic duty of jury service for a couple of weeks. Although it’s a very noble endeavour which I’m taking very seriously, the quiet periods between trials are proving to be monumental efforts in focus.
During these moments, I mentally whisk myself off to somewhere less ordinary. As Montana was the last major destination of choice, images of mist covered lakes and autumnal hues are springing effortlessly to the photographic mind.
In hindsight, I guess one of the most important by-products of travel is that it provides a wonderful memory bank in which to immerse during times of need!
